producing inaccurate glucose . Thank you so much for all your info here! Enter the ORIGINAL sensor code from 10 days earlier. Will those work with G6 transmitter? (is it going to surprise me and stop later on its own???? Im just hoping to get to day 20. I have done many restarts successfully but this last time I my screen had a message Worked perfectly! There was no need to shutdown the receiver. My first attempt at resetting didnt work. Im working on an insurance issue right now with Dexcom and Blue Cross Blue Shield and Im on my last sensor. The Dexcom G6 is allowed to be worn for 10 days. Any recommendations?? I have used Option 1 to restart an ended sensor (basically just start on Step 4 of Option 1, but you dont need to wait for a new BG to come inbecause the session has expired). ago It's the same process as changing a sensor, except you put in the new transmitter with the new sensor. Hope it works. We're an unofficial subreddit about everything Dexcom. Locate the ID on the bottom of the transmitter before attaching it to a sensor. Ive had varying success with anything tinfoil related. I let this session go all the way to 10 full daysand have not been able to do anything (including option 4, but not option 3, since Im just using the receiver for now) to get the receiver to accept the sensor. Thoughts? Pair Manually: You can manually stop your transmitter and sensor by going to Settings > Transmitter > Pair New. Super impressed with it, honestly I was skeptical about whether the Dexcom app would actually pick the transmitter back up after a reboot, but it did, and then it immediately started reading again without calibrating but there was never a gap in readings on the pump (there was on my phone, obviously), but the sensor start date did get updated to the time it reconnected. I just upgraded to G6 yesterday and was incredibly disappointed with the 10-day hard shutdown. Now Im barely getting, and feel lucky if, Im still getting reliable data on day 8 or 9 of a 10 day sensor. And still risk bad readings on the G6.
